As a Ben Wheatley stan, Meg 2: The Channel makes me extremely upset. Such a large number of things going on, insufficient Meg activity. Most of Meg activity is in the last 20-25 minutes. This film ought to have been classified “Animals of The Channel”, all things being equal. This helps me to remember my involvement in Jurassic World Domain where the monster beetles and the people become the dominant focal point. I simply need more Megs, goddamnit.
Jason Statham is moving along automatically Jason Statham and the supporting entertainers don’t help much by the same token. The exhibitions range from tremendously poor to unconvincing to approve ish. The redeeming quality of this film is its CGI animals and Statham versus Meg Section 2.
